Delight Security provides professional security services tailored to the individual requirements of our clients. Our services may include:

  • Mobile Patrols and related security services

The exact scope, location, working hours, staffing requirements and charges for each assignment will be agreed with the client before services commence. 

Security Personnel

Where licensable security activities are required, we provide appropriately qualified and SIA-licensed security personnel in accordance with applicable UK requirements.

Our personnel may also receive additional training, including areas such as First Aid and Fire Marshal training, where applicable.

We reserve the right to provide a suitably qualified replacement security officer where operational circumstances require this. 

Quotations and Agreements

Any quotation provided by Delight Security is based on the information supplied by the client and the requirements known at the time.

A quotation does not constitute a binding agreement until it has been accepted and the relevant service arrangements have been confirmed.

Where a separate written service agreement or contract exists, its terms will apply to the relevant services.

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the premises, event or assignment.
  • Inform us of any known security risks or relevant changes.
  • Provide reasonable access required for our personnel to perform their duties.
  • Ensure that the premises or location is suitable and legally compliant for the agreed services.
  • Not request or instruct security personnel to perform unlawful activities or activities outside the scope of their duties or licence.
  • Make payments in accordance with the agreed quotation or service agreement.

Failure to provide accurate information may affect our ability to provide the services effectively.

Security Services and Risk

Our security services are designed to reduce, manage and deter security risks. However, no security service can guarantee that theft, criminal activity, loss, damage, injury or other incidents will never occur.

Our personnel are not police officers and have only those powers available to them under applicable law.

We will use reasonable care and professional standards when providing our services.

Payments

Fees and payment terms will be agreed with the client before services commence.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices must be paid within the agreed payment period.

Where an invoice remains unpaid, Delight Security reserves the right to suspend or terminate services, subject to the terms of the applicable service agreement and applicable law.

Cancellation and Termination

Cancellation requirements will normally be set out in the relevant quotation or service agreement.

Delight Security may terminate or suspend services where:

  • The client materially breaches the agreed terms.
  • Required payments remain outstanding.
  • Continuing the service would create an unreasonable risk to our personnel.
  • The client requests unlawful or inappropriate activities.
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent the service from continuing.

Any applicable cancellation charges will be communicated to the client as part of the agreed service terms.

Limitation of Liability

Delight Security will take reasonable steps to provide professional security services; however, security services cannot eliminate all risks.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Subject to applicable law, Delight Security shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where applicable, liability relating to a specific security assignment will be governed by the relevant service agreement and applicable insurance arrangements.

Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of information provided by our clients.

Information relating to clients, premises, security arrangements, personnel and assignments will be treated confidentially and will only be disclosed where necessary to provide the services, where required by law, or where otherwise authorised.

Data Protection and Privacy

We may collect and process personal information when you contact us, request a quotation or engage our services.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
